A gargantuan task ahead of us
WINMAR International is a multi-million dollar disaster and restoration company with 90 Franchise locations in Canada. Each of the 90 WINMAR franchises is independently owned and operated. In the fall of 2016, WINMAR hired Shout Media to develop a new corporate presence with development of 90 individual franchise websites across Canada.
Shout Media developed custom software that allowed franchises across Canada to easily submit their content in one platform, leading to all 90 websites to be quickly designed and developed in four months, with complete launch in early 2017.
The project required considerable talent from the Shout Media team. Since that launch, Shout Media has developed a strong Social Media and Digital Media Strategy for WINMAR that has catapulted WINMAR to an unprecedented level in sales across Canada.
WINMAR International had a lack of cohesive branding internally, as well as externally among their franchises.
Several franchises used different logos and all had different versions of web development or none at all. Social media was inconsistent or non-existent. The messaging was fragmented with various images, fonts and logos and a lack of standards or identity. Shout Media pulled together standards for the corporate identity, and that strength of brand made their way to the 90 franchises. The corporate refresh also consisted of all new marketing materials. Since the launch, Shout Media has developed a strong Social Media and Digital Media Strategy for WINMAR that has catapulted WINMAR to an unprecedented level of sales across Canada.

Challenge: To advertise to people who specifically need restoration services across Canada
Solution: By monitoring weather forecasts, we are able to reach communities expecting heavy rainfall or flood warnings with specific, targeted Google ads promoting WINMAR services. We also engaged in a structured Google ad campaign with stronger SEO, blogs, key landing pages and continual keyword analysis.
