Tikinagan is a child and family service agency that services over 30 First Nations and communities in Northwestern Ontario. Their website requires thoughtful user navigation and design to ensure all visitors can find the information they are looking for. The goal of their project was to create a new website to better support families, communities, and staff members while meeting mandated government requirements.
Our team started with an audit of their previous site and developed a strategy to simplify navigation, streamline existing content, add strategic calls to action throughout, and improve the staff portal. The new site is built around user experience: it’s engaging, functional, and easy to navigate for both new and returning visitors. It’s also built to function as an integral piece of future digital marketing campaigns.
One of Tikinagan’s new site’s key features is their new staff portal. It allows Tikinagan to share files, internal updates, and resources with employees in an engaging and efficient way. It also provides creative ways to build corporate culture with features such as polls, an internal blog platform, and an internal newsletter.
