Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) represents 49 First Nation communities across Northern Ontario, spanning two-thirds of the province’s landmass and serving a population of over 45,000 members.

With a mandate to advance the social, cultural, and economic well-being of its communities, NAN provides leadership in governance, justice, health, education, and cultural preservation. As such a large and influential organization, NAN requires communication tools that are professional, accessible, and reflective of its identity and mission.

For over 16 years, Shout Media has been a trusted partner to NAN, providing a full suite of design, print, and digital services. Our collaboration has covered nearly every aspect of their communications, ensuring consistency, quality, and impact across a wide range of initiatives.

On the print side, Shout Media has produced hundreds of projects, including:

  • Conference materials, from agendas and signage to branded giveaways.
  • Business cards, stationery, and corporate branding tools that support day-to-day operations.
  • Large-format displays including roll-up banners, booth displays, and custom signage for events and gatherings.

Digital Innovation

In addition to print and design, Shout Media has delivered modern, accessible websites to support NAN’s specialized initiatives. Two key projects include:

NAN Justice Research and Policy – A platform focused on justice initiatives, research, and policy resources. Standard features include a mobile-friendly layout, easy-to-update content management system, search functionality, resource downloads, and clear calls to action.
