Shout Media recently partnered with Mishkeegogamang Ojibway Nation to create a new website that reflects the spirit, resilience, and forward-looking vision of the community.

Located about 500 km northwest of Thunder Bay and home to over 900 residents (with an additional 500 members living off-site), Mishkeegogamang is a vibrant community within Nishnawbe Aski Nation. With Provincial Highway 599 passing through Reserves 63A and 63B, the community is accessible year-round—yet digital accessibility was the next step in keeping members connected.

Mishkeegogamang asked for a website that would be unique, engaging, and unmistakably theirs – something different from other First Nation sites, and something that would serve both as a cultural showcase and a practical hub for communication.

The finished site provides:

  • A central resource for news, newsletters, and community services.
  • Full mobile accessibility, ensuring members can stay connected wherever they are.
  • An interactive space where community members can upload stories, share publications, and preserve their voice online.

By weaving together functionality and storytelling, the new website is more than a digital platform – it’s a place for members to connect, celebrate identity, and keep up to date with important initiatives.

Shout Media is proud to have created a site that not only informs but also reflects the unique character and strength of Mishkeegogamang Ojibway Nation.
