Our Work
Grand Council Treaty #3
The Challenge
Grand Council Treaty #3 spans 55,000 square miles from Thunder Bay to the Manitoba border and represents 28 First Nation communities with a population of approximately 25,000. Their previous online presence did not reflect the scale of their leadership or provide the accessibility needed to connect such a broad territory. They required a website that could serve as a central hub for news, resources, and community initiatives—while respecting and showcasing cultural heritage.
Our Approach

The result is a digital platform that blends modern usability with deep respect for heritage.
The website’s structure emphasizes clarity and engagement:
- intuitive navigation, a comprehensive resource library
- community event listings
- storytelling elements that highlight Treaty #3’s initiatives and leadership.
More than just a website, it has become an evolving digital home for the Nation, supporting governance, outreach, and education.
Celebrating 150 Years
In parallel with the website launch, Shout Media also developed creative assets to commemorate 150 years of Treaty #3 leadership. This included a commemorative booklet showcasing archival materials and achievements, as well as an interactive landing page to share milestones online. Together, these initiatives honoured the past while reinforcing the new digital foundation built for the future.
The Result
The website has transformed how Grand Council Treaty #3 communicates across its territory, reinforcing identity while providing practical tools for members and leaders alike. The anniversary work extended this impact, connecting history and heritage with a stronger digital future.
