Suzanne is the CEO of Shout Media, and an expert in developing digital strategies. Social and Digital Media are her strengths and creating engaging marketing campaigns for clients is her passion. She also works one-on-one with Shout Media’s marketing, web, digital, social, and design departments on a daily basis. With over a decade of experience working with hundreds of clients, Suzanne is a true Jill-of-all-Trades.

Mike is our COO and has been a professional developer since 2002 and has 15+ years in an agency setting. He has developed hundreds of websites and apps, and enjoys video production and 3D design. His client relations and leadership skills are out of this world, and have translated into a number of teaching and mentorship opportunities. Outside of work, Mike is a certified Family Man™ with 3 energetic boys.

Ashley is the Chief Marketing Officer at Shout Media and a mastermind with ad management and optimization. As an OCAD University grad, Ashley specializes in advertising and has been helping clients run campaigns with the best ROI for over a decade while keeping up with all the latest trends and tools. She is passionate about always challenging herself – whether that be via strength training in the gym or out on the water racing sailboats.

Shane is the Director of Development and a brilliant programmer. He has coded hundreds of websites along with custom web and mobile applications over the past 13 years mastering multiple programming languages. He is our lead WordPress and Shopify expert and foremost resource for AODA compliance and custom web solutions. He’s got a diploma in Electrical Engineering – Computers and we’re thinking he has a minor in office snacks because he has the best treats.

Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing, Kristi honed her digital marketing skills at a top advertising agency in the U.S. specializing in recruitment. As our Director of Client Success, she oversees our project management team and our clients on their branding, marketing, and website presence; all while keeping their customer journey in mind. Fun fact: Kristi was recruited to play Division 1 volleyball in Illinois!

Tyler is one of our Lead Designers, and part-time photographer/videographer, with expertise in branding and user experience design. As a graduate of Western University, his broad experience allows him to take an integrated approach to solving client problems. Also his dad jokes are horrible but he just won’t stop telling them.

Taylor is a Senior Developer and has over 12 years of experience building innovative and responsive websites since his graduation from Confederation College’s Multimedia Program. He brings his passion to his work and humour to the office, both with incredible attention to detail. Taylor’s a whiz at balancing work with play and is an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan (no comment).

David is the Director of Graphic Design at Shout Media who is passionate about bringing the highest standards of design to his work. He graduated from Confederation College’s Multimedia Program in 2011 and hasn’t stopped honing his craft since, even expanding into animation. He’s insanely quick and a man of few words, but his work speaks for itself.

Many of us consider Barb to be our office mom, but she’s actually Ashley’s mom. As Director of Administration, Barb keeps us in line with pretty much everything if we’re being honest. She graduated from Finance and Sales Management at Sault College, and is responsible for Accounts Receivables/Payables plus 1000 other things including small project coordination.

After graduating with a Business Administration Marketing degree from Fanshawe College, Chelsea moved home to Barbados to strengthen her skills in social media marketing, design, and relaxation (we’re assuming). Chelsea worked with several clients in Barbados as a social media strategist before packing up and moving to the cooler temps known as Canada. As a Senior Client Success Manager Chelsea manages our educational clients among others and her days are packed with everything from managing successful campaigns to leading large web projects. She’s also ultra organized, a fabulous writer, and a talented artist!

Megan graduated from Confederation College in the Interactive Media Development program where she honed her skills in graphic design. As a Graphic Designer and Marketing Strategist she helps take our client’s social media presence to the next level with her creative designs and curated content. At home, Megan’s life doesn’t get any less busy – with 2 dogs and 2 cats, she’s always kept on her toes.

Jen has many talents including the smooth execution of Shout’s print department. Her meticulous attention to detail is impeccable and ensures every print job is completed to perfection. Her creativity doesn’t stop at our print shop – you can tune into CILU Radio to listen to her show “Jen’s Bent”, which she’s been hosting since 2005!

Nick took Graphic Design at Durham College and joined the Shout team shortly after he graduated in 2021. He brings a fresh perspective to design projects and we’re thrilled to have him on board! While he grew up in Thunder Bay and Manitouwadge, he currently lives in Pickering where he works remotely, possibly from the beach near his place which is one of his favourite hang outs.

Maija joined the Shout team in 2021 and quickly moved into her General Manager role. Maija holds an HBA in Psychology from Lakehead University, a Human Resource Management certificate from Confederation College and brings with her years of customer service experience. A lover of all things client focused, Maija enjoys working alongside both staff and clients managing projects. Meeting timelines are her goal…always. When she’s not busy organizing all of the things, you’ll find Maija exploring the outdoors with her family and friends, watering her many house plants, and curling up with her cats (self-proclaimed resident cat-mom) and a good book/crochet project.

Kira graduated from Confederation College with a diploma in Computer Programming. Her interest in technology started off as a hobby, and then it turned into an obsession as she learned more about the underlying technology that is now fundamental to our everyday lives. She made the transition from forestry work to a web developer, but she still loves the woods. She often spends her spare time walking the trails or going camping.

After several years of strategizing and managing digital marketing efforts, Matt has embraced a new role guiding business development at Shout. He gets excited about new projects and helping our clients thrive in the online and marketing space. When not working, Matt can be found hiking or enjoying time in the mountains. He’s also a fan of taking the stairs – 30,000 of them; Matt holds the world record for most stairs climbed on a machine in 12 hours – just don’t ask him about his knees.

Proud Mom, wife, sister, and daughter, born not far down the road in Nipigon, growing up around the north, in the states and living for a time on the east coast of Canada, Kathy graduated from Confederation (general arts/science) and LU (psychology/sociology). Her background in behavioural studies helped her quickly grow in a number of management roles, from operations to HR. Most recently working on ‘special projects’ in indigenous education and re-ground to her roots in the north. She joins Shout with the ability to wear many hats, all at the same time as an administrative assistant. Happy to be learning something new, and bringing in tools and skills collecting along her pathway. Daily goals are to find blessings and happiness while spreading kindness in everyday moments.

Emily is embarking on her final year at McMaster University in the Arts & Science undergraduate program. Having initially joined Shout as their summer student in 2022, she is now working as both a Digital Marketing Strategist and Administrative Assistant. As a member of Gen Z, Emily leverages her expertise in social media and other digital platforms to offer valuable perspective to a diverse portfolio of projects. Additionally, she has great writing skills! During her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her dog, Finn.

Meet Jordan, the newest member of our Social/Digital team. Holding a diploma in Interactive Media Development from Confederation College and a solid background in sales, Jordan brings with him a keen eye for design, social media and fostering strong client relationships. His hands-on approach to campaign strategy and creative direction makes him a key asset to our team. Outside of work, you can find him balancing family with some kind of musical instrument in hand. We’re excited to have Jordan on board, bringing his unique blend of skills and interests to our projects and clients.

Meet Jack, the latest addition to our team at Shout Media. With a robust background in sales and a passionate commitment to leveraging software, Jack is perfectly positioned to navigate us through an exciting new chapter. His expertise in delivering custom software solutions to tackle unique challenges enhances our team’s core strengths. We are thrilled to welcome Jack, as he brings a fresh perspective and dynamic skillset to our projects. Outside of the office, Jack is often found by the water, enjoying time with his partner Julia and their loyal companion, Mack. And just in case you’re wondering, Jack stands out in more ways than one—he’s 6’9″! We’re excited to see how Jack’s unique blend of skills and interests will help us grow and refine our offerings.

Lovneet Bansal, armed with an MBA from Concordia University and the prestigious PMP certification, is a marketing professional who blends strategic expertise with hands-on execution. With over 5 years of diverse marketing experience, Lovneet excels in Google and Meta ads, email marketing campaigns, and driving multi-channel strategies that deliver real-world results. Known for his leadership, innovation, and ability to roll up his sleeves, he brings a dynamic edge to every project. Outside of work, Lovneet is a movie fanatic, music enthusiast, and a diehard FC Barcelona fan.

With a knack for solving problems and a keyboard never too far away, Robin is a Junior Web Developer at Shout. He studied Information Communication Technology at Confederation College and brings a practical, hands-on approach to his work. Originally from India and now based in Thunder Bay, Robin spends his downtime watching movies, binging web series, or building things out of wood just for the fun of it. We’re pretty sure he’s part developer, part craftsman.

With a versatile skillset and a quirky eye (not literally), Mary is passionate about bringing a unique quality to every design job. A 2009 graduate of the Sault College Graphic Design program and a certified RGD, Mary worked for over a decade in design before shifting to open a bakery – but she’s back, baby! When not tickling the pixels as a Senior Graphic Designer, she can be found doing too much community theatre.

Duncan recently joined Shout as an Implementation & Support Specialist after graduating from Confederation College’s Computer Programming program. With a varied background that includes IT support, customer service, and even landscaping, they bring a practical, solutions-focused mindset to the team. This is their first official office role, and they’re eager to dive in, supporting clients, solving problems, and learning the ropes in a fast-paced environment. When they’re not tinkering with tech or optimizing systems, Duncan is likely off on a hike, playing tabletop games, or deep into a fantasy novel.
