Halyard is a Canadian engineering and project delivery firm serving the mining and metals industry. The Challenge

Halyard’s previous website did not reflect the scale and quality of its work. The site lacked strong branding, was limited in functionality, and made it difficult for prospective clients to understand the full scope of services. Specifically, Halyard required a modern platform that could:

  • Brand refresh and mood board development, expanding Halyard’s colour palette and typography while maintaining its established identity.
  • A dynamic project showcase with advanced filtering by service type, commodity, and project stage, tied to an interactive map to highlight Halyard’s global presence.
  • Custom animations and interactive blocks that bring technical content to life and guide visitors through Halyard’s expertise areas.
  • A clean, responsive design with bold visuals and professional photography to reinforce credibility and differentiate Halyard from competitors.
  • Seamless integration of tools like SearchWP, enabling projects to be searched by detailed metadata (location, service scope, project type, and client).

Beyond the website, Shout Media provided a comprehensive suite of brand and design support to strengthen Halyard’s visual identity across all touchpoints. This included email signatures, business cards, PowerPoint and Word templates, a report and proposal cover page, a company profile, and a roll-up banner.

When Halyard later announced its merger with Micon International, Shout Media supported the transition by developing a co-branded logo lockup and designing a homepage banner announcing the partnership. Shout Media has also begun designing interior office graphics for the company’s King Street location, extending the refreshed brand into their physical environment.
