Our Work
Conservation Ontario
Shout Media began working with Conservation Ontario in early 2022, starting with the development of a new website. The relationship quickly grew into a long-term partnership built on collaboration, trust, and measurable results.
The Challenge
Conservation Ontario needed a modern, user-friendly website that could showcase over 300 conservation areas across Ontario, helping residents and visitors plan trips, discover parks, and access resources. Beyond the website, they were also looking for a partner to support brand updates, app development, and digital campaigns that could broaden reach and engagement.
Our Approach
Shout Media began with a series of strategic planning meetings, working closely with Conservation Ontario’s internal team to define goals, outcomes, and communication processes. From there, we delivered a website that was visually appealing, easy to navigate, and designed to serve as a comprehensive planning resource for Ontarians. The project was delivered on time and within budget, laying the foundation for future collaboration.
Building on that success, Shout Media has since partnered with Conservation Ontario on:
- Brand updates and marketing materials.
- Two additional websites tailored to specific initiatives. https://www.latornell.ca/ and https://www.conservationsudbury.ca/
- A full mobile app, expanding access to conservation area information.
- Digital campaigns, including the 2022 website launch campaign, the 2023 Nature Smart Digital Campaign, and a 2024 app awareness campaign.
To further increase engagement, Shout Media created and managed two social media campaigns.
The first focused on raising awareness about Ontario’s conservation areas, using engaging visuals and storytelling to highlight outdoor experiences and encourage visits.
The second campaign promoted the launch of the new mobile app, showcasing its features and benefits while driving downloads and usage among target audiences. Both campaigns generated significant awareness, traffic, and positive community engagement.
The Result
Today, Shout Media continues to work closely with Conservation Ontario to implement digital media campaigns and strategic initiatives, helping more people explore and enjoy Ontario’s natural spaces.
