Our Work
Eagle Lake First Nation
Shout Media partnered with Eagle Lake First Nation (Migisi Sahgaigan) to design a new website that captures the community’s spirit, values, and traditions while providing practical tools for everyday use.
Located along the northeast shores of Eagle Lake, just 25 km southwest of Dryden, this Ojibwe community is part of the Treaty #3 Region and falls under the Bimose Tribal Council. With a registered population of over 600 members, Eagle Lake wanted to move beyond an outdated website and create a platform that reflects their unique branding and showcases the strength of their community.
Working closely with the team at Eagle Lake, Shout Media developed a visually striking and culturally grounded website that combines modern functionality with heritage storytelling. Key features include:
- News and events hub to keep members informed.
- Community bookings for the rink and Community Hall.
- Comprehensive department listings for easy access to services.
- Recruitment section with job postings and applications.
- Interactive community timeline, tracing history from the 1873 Treaty signing to today.
- Programs and services directory.
- Beliefs and Values showcased prominently, along with a message from the Chief and Council.
The finished site is colourful, accessible, and representative of Eagle Lake’s thriving identity—offering both a modern resource for members and a lasting digital home that honours tradition.
